I've downloaded the patch using the blizzard downloader, took about half an hour on my 2mb line.
Just waiting for the realms to come up now :)
Taking ages here with the Blizzard downloader!
Well...it is on my PC. Roaring along on the Mac, however....who knows??
took 16mins on my less than 2meg line :P
there server status page says there all online but i cant seem to see any servers...
I started the game and it started downloading autom., but it took almost 2h:\
Took me an hour and a bit, so just waiting for realms to come back. I also tried to get rid of Cosmos - hopefully I've deleted the right directories!
yup yup, all done and waiting for those servers to appear :)
any place to download it other the FP and the Blizzard downloader? there are 2h queues on file planet!

Does the Blizzard downloader save the patches anywhere? I might be reinstalling soon, and downloading them again would be a pain.

Downloaded off fileplanet - went to the toilet and came back and it was done... gota love 8mb line! :D

didnt have any problems with it eariler today ;) was getting over 100kb from it :)
The Blizzard download is just over 60MB (and at 512 KB/s took around 20 min on auto update from Blizzard).
Why, and how, have other people got downloads of over 100MB? I have seen the American patch at @115MB on file planet (but couldn't see English due to wait period, as noted by MBlaster).
If you are going to back up the patches from the Warcraft directory I think it might be best to save the patch update files as well as the larger patch files themselves (ie the patch downloader applications dated 12/02 and 25/03).
Hope the servers come on line soooooooon, shame to lose a free day off from work.
