Battlefield 3 "Free" on Amazon Prime (for Origin Launcher)

Battlefield 3 is free currently if you have an Amazon Prime account tied to Twitch Prime (or whatever they call it these days!). The redemption code is for the Origin launcher. Expires 2nd Jan 2021.

Really enjoyed 3, 4 & 1. The single player campaign is actually fun, especially if the multiplayer ends up just like old CODs in the hands of the hacks.

From what I can see, it requires the Origin client, which I don't have (or want). Oh well, another one crossed off the list.

BF2 was fantastic. By BF1 do you mean the original 1942 or the WW1 BF of more recent times? I think there was also a BF Vietnam between 1942 and BF2 releases but it got less traction and I only got to play it a short while.

I was referring to the modern BF1. But 1942 was absolutely epic for it's day. Land, Sea & Air in full operation with players participating in all available aspects, something I don't think we'll ever see again to that magnitude. 64 players at a LAN party those were the days!

I came to BF2 too late but enjoyed what I experienced, after 2142 as it happens, which was also excellent.

Vietnam was brilliant as well, however, it suffered from massive day one release bugs. It wasn't until some huge patches later they were finally ironed out, but it was too late as players all moved on.
