Why AH make us all look and behave like broads in a shopping spree

Man i hate the AH , when i go there to see the auction items and i see something good for me , my brain shuts off and i mutate to an mindless broad with to much money

What i wanted to know is , how do you all behave in the AH when you see a very good item for auctioning.

PS: for all the women of our guild , i didnt ment to desrespect any of you in any way... I just use the Mythos that woman cant resist to buy everithing they pu their eyes on

first thing i do, is check thottbot to see wot its vend price is.............

I then check to see wot the weapon i am holding is worth..........

    Weapon in AH = 3G

Weapon in hand at the moment = 1G 20s

Costing me 1G 80S to upgrade.

I rarely buy weapons/armor from the AH. Tend to wait for quest rewards/drops.

I tend to make scheduled visits to AH with a specific shopping list. If I spot a bargain I'll grab it but if it's something only a wee bit better than what I've got on then it's usually balanced by how much it costs against how much real benefit it'll give me over what I've got.

I bought a spyglass the other week, I actually find it amusingly helpful for grinding. Nice to be able to kill a load of mobs along an area then whip the spyglass out and check for respawns along the return route, "hmmm, nothing over there.....or there....ah, I spy with my little eye!"

So far I've just been buying out all bronze bars i can get for 23-26 silver per 20. I can then make bronze pants that sell for 9.62s to vendors and only use the bronze. Gets my smithing up a bit (although thats not gonna work as well now that I am a bit higher) and nets me a couple silver. Might have to do that to iron, just need to check how much i can sell things for.

I do use the AH quite a bit, everyday I go on there and check the daggers, 1h swords, leather armor, leatherworking recepies, and any other items i need at the time for leatherworking.

Most of the time i can't find anything that is an upgrade for me, but when i do find something i usually buy it Bought a new belt for 3g from the AH a couple days ago, was an improvement of about 10 armor and +5 extra stats, much less than that and i wouldn't have bothered.
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.

I take a look in the AH every time I pass by, but only check for recipes. I get armour and weapons from quest rewards - being a spellcaster, weapons aren't really a priority.

    AH
The place I always start the evening and make a solid effort to end it.

I, like MBlaster, am after the usual hunting junk. Anything one-handed, leather armour and reciepes (leatherworking AND cooking) are my particular favourites. I do check a few other areas for any peeps offering big bargains but it rarely happens.
Only the other day I picked up 1200 razor arrows at 2s for 200. Leather and hide is never cheap but it has been known so I'm always on the lookout.

Keep yer eyes peeled and damn anyone for out-bidding me!

Yup that is my real name

I picked janeyjane as its one of my better nicknames. I couldnt really see me with a character called Twinkie, Tiddles, Teabitch, Sissy or Geoffrey!

Shes not doing too badly - shes a lvl 23 tauren Sha(wo)man. Hopefully she will soon be high enough to group play with people in their late 20s/early 30s

Talking of cake - did you know that carrot cake contains a daily portion of fruit & veg. Mmmmmmmmmm yummy!
