Is this forum OK for you Soldiers/Sailors/Pilots/Spies etc?

Is it ok to have it all "melded" like this? Anything you want changing in the title?

This forum often gets more then gaming though, like general aviation related goodness and whatnot, so you could consider changing the title to fit that in my opinion. Other than that great idea!

Wouldn't really consider battlefield, call of duty et al simulations either :s

hmh...agree with that BUT some of them do find a niche in the hearts of the same gamers as simmers.

If the Simm stuff gets diluted by Medal of Honour style stuff , I'll split them out to Gaming again

But the forum is called "wargames", who says it has to just be sims? IMO, it's anything to do with war, WWII flight sims, WWI sub sims, WWII FPS etc can all be included, no? Would there be any limits though, what about futuristic war RTS's like Generals and Act of War?

:edit: Just noticed "This is for any war game simulation."... Perhaps just change that?

    Just change it to "HEXUS.Simulators"

That way we get all the simmers in here, and the other games in there. That'll set the deifnition between FPS'ers and Simmers atleast

It's not like there is a godzillion Sims posted anyway, so what diff will this forum make if it was called "Sims" or "Simulators"..

Google will grab it, and then Hexus' devoted Wargamers and IL-2 /LOMAC/SH3 dudes will sink under the mammoth attack of the Sims Fans ...world wide!!

Trust me...what this forum DOESNT need is a zillion parents, children, grandma's and teenagers all confused as to why Dad's laptop won't play The Sim's House Party....googling and landing up in the middle of a very serious debate about rocket attacks on the bows of the Tirpitz

Ruddy well said mate. And none of that Ork/Hobbit/Wizard tosh in 'ere either.

Frontline fighter pilots, bomber boys, jet jockeys and U-Boat commanders need only apply.

The forum is fine Zakky boy.

    Wargames - hmmm...

It might attract the non-PC wargamers.

Those chaps who spend months of their lives handpainting lead figures of Napoleon's army, then months more rolling dice and arguing the rules.

Not to mention RISK and Diplomacy players.

    'Make mine a Spitfire, Landlord!'

It's mainly fantasy/sci fi stuff I get commissioned to do, as you can see here..

WH40K, with a polar explorer thrown into the mix. Not my best work, but when you're being paid you can't spend forever on them!

Paimnted with water based acrylics (vallejo model colour mostly)

Got some WW2 british paras and english civil war guys if you want to see them.

    P.s. excuse the poor photos.
