Nope thats not how it works, 14 ranks is not limited to 14 people..

Based on this, we arrive at 14 rankings for all PvP participants.

And to be honest Allen its all about being sensible about the way you play the game. Lvl 60's are not going to gain lvls by killing lvl 25's but other lvl 25's will. I'd expect best thing to do is to go to areas where the same lvl enemies are.

Not that it will do you any good, as they rewards are designed to be lvl 50+ from the ones i can see....

So you may have a pvp rank but it won't do you any good till you gain some more lvls.

I personally think you just need to play 1 character and enjoy that. Otherwise you end up being the source of your own frustration.

Ah yes after re-reading i was mistaken but you can still loose your rank if you dont keep killing.

Didn't think I could access it from work, but can... Makes it even more confusing if you ask me. I don't see how my few kills I could get would be able to get me any sort of ranking when we're being compared against everyone else. Can you imagine the honour that Umbrage will gather? I think they will have ALL the ranks letting no-one else get a rank, including all of us, not just the guys who can't give the hours or have the levels.

Ranking is assessed weekly based on the current week's performance, it's not based on total accumulated honour points or such. That means even if you just hit 60 you have a shot at the top spot.

10000 Honourable kills in a week
I get 27. Average is say 10. I get rank 10 for this week. Its a percentage of total kills for the week being a lvl 60 MAY not be the best thing for you.

Sure you can kill pretty much anybody you meet, but at lvl 47 i'm able to kill a lot of people higher than me (up to 50 ish in most cases) and lots of people lower than me.

Anyway its all about Postive mental attitude mate. Don't write yourself off before you've even started.

Come kill some alliance with us as Rentau tonight, your healing skills would be really helpful, and as such will help us out and as you are grouped you gain pvp honour kills as well.

But please give it a chance first.

Maybe, but disregarding the fact I have multiple chars, you say about killing people around my level. Well, the only chance that will happen is during a raid, in which case there will be level 40's fighting over each other to kill us level 30's for honour as we'll be easy targets. Outside of raid situations I can't see how any level 25-33 will go PvP enabled around me (unless they have backup nearby), any higher and I'll struggle to kill them, handing them them honour in a plate and getting nothing myself!

I didn't realise that the reward eq was only for lvl 50+..... well, that's great, isn't it.

End of the day though, to get the most out of PvP (or indeed PvE) you're going to need level 60.

I noticed a change realm tab on my charactor screen the other day, does this mean I could move my existing charactors to another server if I wanted? Not that I desire this currently I just wonderd.

No, that enables you to create chars on another realm, not move your chars to another realm.

No link - was poking about with the PvP equipment merchant last night though and saw the sergeant stuff was available in 3 versions, starting at level 30. The higher stuff may be more restricted mind.

I have to say i don't think that this will enhance the game for me. I play on a PvE server because I don't really want to fight the alliance for rewards. I am init for the questing and trading with other players. I think that the new honor system will be a pain for those who play slowly ( i am only level 27) and have jobs, lives etc. If it stops me enjoying the game by making certain areas no go for questing, ie the quest giving npc's are always dead then i may well jack it in. Oh well, lets wait and see.

I have 35 honourable kills with Skeppers...lev 44 undead rogue, with my guild Maligned ( im a member not the guild owner lol ) we dominated the arena for some time earlier, i think you just have to make contact with the enemy peeps are goin for most to gain a kill, you dont have to actually finish the guy off

I there m8s.Last night got my first pvp action since this patch...now i have 135 kills to my name!...it was really cool, an very enjoyable!!
