Is there an essential need for Elite/Dungeon quests?

OK...I'm lvl23 atm, and I have yet to do any of the RC or WC quests. I haven't resorted to grinding much, just been questing on both continents to get this far.

I ventured into RC earlier today and got confronted by lvl16 elites, which after killing them, I noticed I didn't get any XPs from them.

As I've seen to have passed both of these dungeon lvls, is it essential to do them?

    In a word, no.
The main reason people do them is to get a few nice items and get a bit of money.
My main reason is that they can be bloody good fun and teach you a lot about good teamwork which can come in handy during raids and other such stuff

I think the rewards are plentyful from quests and pickups can be good to use or sell, but as GP said, the main idea is that they're meant to be FUN.

I haven't done any Ragefire quests yet! We could nip through there quickly at some point to get them cleared for the quest xp and money for the items. At level 23 WC is deffoworth doing, but as a group. You wil need a group of 5 i would say. Could do it again for the xp and the deviate hides!
    Not around too often!

RFC won't get you much if any exp at level 23 as all the mobs are at least 5 levels below you, elite or not doesn't matter, it's still the base level..

You'll be looking at a group to tackle WC, but that'll get you good items and good exp

I'll help anyone do WC again with Kerilus at lvl 26, I still have some blooming Deviate Hides to collect! Won't get much exp, but if it helps you level up a bit then you can help me out with SFK soon!

I'll help with WC. I ditched most of my quests for there but I've got two left I think.
