Please dont encourage him to buy more computers - there are at least 3 in our house already (and only 2 of us!)

Thanks for all your comments above
    Much appreciated

    Redpiggy/Janeyjane

Edit: but i quite like the maid idea.......

I think a hearty thanks to someone who has helped enormously is something I am very happy about. Whether it is a sticky or new thread is no fuss. Old threads drop off the forum fairly rapidly anyway.

And RP/JJ does go out of her way to help

As for having three computers and two people, never a bad thing to have a few back up systems ready. Though it does get rid of the opportunity to bake if your only computer breaks

Time to get installing I'd have though, or do you only have one account you both use?

    Wow.
I got a good laugh reading all those replies - just goes to further my original point (which it appears no-one got!)

What people don't like is negativity, something as a guild we've hopefully got rid of and as such are much better for it....
Yeah I think the guild almost got rid of it, but then you changed your mind about leaving after making a big hoo-ha

    Bring on the flames!

Father-time - you have in no way done anything wrong so there is no need for an apology. Also if you wish to join the Hexus Horde you would be a very welcome addition.

Sorry but I gotta step in and help defend Bertie because I thought he was being polite lol, he's not disputing the fact that Redpiggy does a lot for Hexus WoW members. He just thought like I do that things were getting a little ridiculous with the "endless" thank you threads to the same person. It's great that you want to show your apprectiation for someone who helped you but I'm sure a whisper or a pm here is more than enough. I think someone suggested stickying a " Thank you thread" which is probably the best thing to do if people here want to publicly thank someone.

I don't think we need a thank you thread, after all once it's created how would you know who was being thanked in the replies unless you read the thread, something which the recipient of the thanks may no do. Also, we have enough stickies at the moment, at 1024 resolution I can't see anything except stickies when I first open this forum. Public thanks are fine in here, feel free to continue; alternatively do it in game or via pm on the forums. For those that feel these threads are too frequent and over the top there's a simple solution, don't read the thread

I'm going to close this thread as it's way off topic and looks in danger of degenerating.
