Been trying to get them to work for a while. Auto self cast on cosmos and how a macro picks a target is causing me some difficulty, but....when I get to read the thread fully I may know more

what is a macro i never understand stuff like that.hopefully someone will tell me
A macro is a list of commands all bundled into one. So for example, in WoW, you could create a macro to say 2 things immediately, rather than having to type them both out. Or, you could, like example from that site, create a macro which says something, does a command, then does an emote so all 3 will appear next to eachother without having to type all the command out yourself.
They're good for repetetive things.
Macro = Multiple commands bound to one keybind
Ie,
/wave
/cast <mount>
/Bye
Bound to B
Every time you pressed B or the revant buton, you would wave to all, summon your mount andthen say bye to all..........

:edit: Also, those Rogue ones will give Rogues a MASSIVE advantage, kind of unfair really. BUT, I will be putting them into place on my PvP Rogue... she'll need all the help she can get!

Besides, as someone else said, you have to stare at your characters behind all the time when running around, so why not stare at a nice one?

Sends to raid or party as appropriate then casts the spell.
Nah, I'll just yell it. Often in PvP we're not all grouped or in a raid party, like in Tarren Mill. It's basically a free for all and great fun! So just yelling it gives everyone an idea, not just party and/or raid members.
The one above is useful for PvE; in pvp I just poly and hope no one hit's it, it's usually so chaotic that yells will get ignored anyway.
