    What the hell? Storage account?

    Must be a new thing that they added with the patch today... I never had to open one. ^_^;;

Oh, other new things (that I've noticed) that they added today:
    - The green objective marker now appears on both the 'M' map and the 'U' map. (Very, very useful.)
    - You can now store gold in your Xunlai Agent storage. (Though I can't see any reason why you wouldn't want to have your gold on you.)

Yeah, they've also added a label to each player showing proffession and level, and they've changed the dye remover icon coz it looked exactly the same as red dye, and people were being scammed.

A label? If you mean a white thing that hovers above their head, then that's always been there. Well, it's been there since I started playing two weeks ago, anyway. ^_^;; I think it only appears in mission areas, though, which is why you wouldn't have seen them until recently.

The dye remove icon confused me earlier, though; on one merchant it looked like a little man in a red hat, and on another it looked like a green bottle. Maybe they haven't sorted out what it is meant to look like yet?

I'm sure you're right . I've only just done the searing thing, so that's why I haven't seen it.

One of the quests in pre searing asalong does say if you are finding it hard you can get a helper from within ascalon city, so they must be there somehwere, i jus tnever needed em in the early part of the game.

Ive not come across any weapons merchants, everything you get is either dropped loot or mission rewards, you then customise them and can add runes to them to improve them.

The creatures that glow, are bosses, most have basic healing abilities, usually only used on themselves, the actual "healers" are usual standing away from you throwing magical attacks, early on the healers are called :

Grawl Ulodytes, Charr Martyrs, Charr Shaman, Charr Overseers - anything thats a shaman is a healer.

Ah right, yeah. They appear in mission areas (indicated on your map by a shield rather than a dot), to help you put groups together more easily.

Missions are really cool (cutscenes, woo!) which help advance the storyline and let you reach new areas. If you haven't done any yet, you really should. If the storyline wasn't enough, you get 1000 exp and a skill point for every mission you do. If you manage to find and complete the bonus, you get an extra 1000 exp as well!

Perhaps it means a non-PC helper? I know there's a quest that teaches you how to add people to your party; the reward is a free resurrection signet.

I don't know about NPCs, I never came across (or needed) AI Henchmen Pre-Searing.

There are weapon merchants later on. Bear in mind that the second you customize a weapon, you can't sell it to any other player; it becomes useless to everybody but you. It gives you + 20% damage, but be careful if you only intend to use it temporarily. To my knowledge, weapons don't accept runes. You need upgrade parts, taken from other weapons by an Expert Salvage Kit.

"Furious Longsword of Fortitude" for example would have a Sword Pommel of Fortitude and some other upgrade item, which you could only apply to swords.

Boss mobs are also easily identified by their name. Most of them will be named like something out of an "old school" RPG:

"Blahblah Cindershot", for example. If they have a surname, it's a dead giveaway.

In wonder if they put that in so that people don't start trading custom weapons on ebay etc?

I doubt it; people could still trade weapons on Ebay and the like. By "customize", I don't mean add upgrades etc to it.... I mean go to a vendor and ask them to increase the damage by 20%.

Once that happens, you can't sell the weapon. You can apply upgrade parts to a weapon and then sell it on without any problems.

    Sorry if I wasn't clear.

How does the pvp system work in regards to guild? Or at all for that matter?

In regards to the guild, I have no idea. Mine only has 2 members and we've never done any PvP at the same time, so it's all guesswork from here on...

I assume that when you go to an Arena and you're in a guild, (as a roleplaying character anyway), if more than one member of a guild tries to enter it will group them together and name the team after them.

Things probably work differently under PvP characters (though I haven't made one yet). Any characters that you make, by the way, are automatically added to your guild, so it wouldn't surprise me if PvP characters had some weird guild options for PvP.

EDIT: Just made a PvP character... When you create it, you can select "Guild Battle" as your PvP type, if your guild has a guild hall. Then, you can battle there against other guilds.

Just had a beer, few more can't hurt the gameplat. Although I don't know if I'll play any more tonight. Going to Skinners for a tour tomorrow, then out for a meal, not sure if I'll get much done then either.
