I'm just catching up on all the small quests at the min, halfway through level 9 now so they are literally just collecting xp from the person that gives the quests. All monsters etc on these quests are no higher than level 4 so its easy going by yourself !

I spend a few hours on this morning. Got up 1 level. The quests at Yacks bend got a bit more intresting, nice weather effects there, though its still mainly killing things.

Been playing this and am level 7. Cant get hang of the inventory and the weapons etc. Anyone found a link with tip etc on how to get / make best weapons ?? its the salvage bit that throws me. Plus always seem to have the same armour on.

Are you on the main game yet or the portal world just starting out, once you get on the main world you salvage items to get the Iron then see the armourer in Ascalon then get him to craft you a new set up. I'm onto my third set of armour now, look like I did when I started the game again, I got a full set of the basic Ascalon armour but that only had maximum of 35 defence on each bit, but the other armourer can do better stuff but you need steel and other bits and bobs to craft it so I went with his chainmail till I get my hands on steel and other stuff.
At the min I am just selling stuff that I find after killing the creatures to get money together.
Yeah. I just sell everything, and buy salvage kits to get materials. Although I haven't found any places with weapons worth what they charge to craft them.

Has anyone found out where you get coal from yet? I need just ONE piece to get some daddy armour (got everything else) and I've never once seen it.

What I can't figure out about armour yet (and the manual doesn't cover a LOT of things)....you can bring up your hero screen and your inventory....and you can see the stats of individual bits of armour. But you don't seem to have an overall 'armour class' or figure which represents your defensive abilities. Am I missing something, or is this just the way they designed it? The personal information you can get on your character is a bit more sparse than most RPGs (not necessarily a bad thing).
