Actually I'm not bored anymore, I'm starting to enjoy myself after soloing nolani academy at level 12 because my whole party quit when the monk died!

Edit: Still can't get my W/Mo any further though, thunderhead keep now seems to be another warrior exclusion zone, so unless I can somehow do it with henchies I might just delete the character soon.

I'm stuck at Thunderhead Keep also. Get right through the mission then the very last bit where the Mursatt arrive and get wiped out. Its a really long mission also, so it gets quite annoying having to restart again. Tried it twice tonight now and its happened both times same place.

Doesnt help when you have team members that just go running off constantly and into the fray before you manage to heal and regen you're magical capability.

I havnt come across any ascended armour anywhere. Where do you actually get it and whats the benefit of it ? I think after you ascend it should do something so that people know you have ascended.

I got my Knights stuff at droknars forge, theres 1 armour higher and that was the platemail (extra 5 points on each piece) Happy enough with what I now have as its infused and I've added runes to a few pieces so its pretty good all round. Platemail also required boatloads of Steel Ingots which I didnt have and they were extortionate to get from the material traders, another reason I got the Knights.

Cost me 1500 per piece, then the price of the bits I had to buy like extra Iron Ingots and Leather Squares. Worked out at around 10k all told.

Have to say I like this bit of the update tonight :

"Added party configuration requirement so that parties containing henchmen or unascended players are now prevented from entering the Fissure of Woe and the Underworld."

Makes it better for everyone really, Temple of Ages is always full with people hanging round for fissure or underworld for when a district gets favour, makes it awkward for people questing.

Anyone been to the Fissure or Underworld yet ? Whats it like, how exactly do you get to them ? Anyone fancy getting together and going for them at some point ?

Ascended armour is found at some of the outposts in the south shiverpeaks further along from droknars, and cost 15000g per piece generally with added costs of rare crafting materials while at the same time offering no technical benefit over 1.5k droknar armour. Its basically so you can flash your cash

been to both UW and Fissure many times. you need to form a well balance team and one that listens or chances of survival is minimal there. also there is a armor crafter in fissure that makes really nice looking armor at ridiculous amount of gold

    Ah well !

Only place I havnt visited round the Shiverpeaks area now is the Granite Citadel, Its really hard to get to with sheer volume of enemies attacking at once with just the NPC's. At lest I have decent armour !

I could write the LONGEST rant in the world about the people I've encountered while playing this game, hahaha. Been trying to get to Elona's Reach from Seeker's Passage, tried about 5 times now and each time the people I teamed up with (who seemed pretty intelligent when talking in the towns) turned out to be utter muppets.
I actually got further using the henchies!

Got to Elonas Reach from Augury Rock, I tried it from Seekers myself and kept failing. At least if you go from Augury you can stop off at Destinys Gorge removing any DP.

Just looked at /deaths and /age. Total deaths is 210 and age is 103 hours !

Tried Thunderhead Keep again this morning, once again right at the end of it and the final boss arrives in the form of one of those (orange glowing) Jade Armour things and the team instead of taking out the normal Jade Armour and Mursatt priest first went for the boss Jade Armour which kept getting healed by the priest and we all died, no surprise there. We were doing really well also as it was 5 Warriors, 1 Necro and 2 monks. Waded through everything with no effort at all really so for this mistake to happen at the end was just idiotic.

Ah well, try again tonight !
