Only free upgrade they have ever done was Sorrows Furnace, that was released September after Prophecies was initially released.
If you havn't got Nightfall yet get it. Worth every penny and equally as good as Prophecies.

just bought nightfall and upgraded account cant see how i get to the new place ?? Seems just he same as where I left off.
Where is it you are trying to go. If you are wanting to take an existing character across you have to do the quests for Mehnlo in Kaineng center or Lions Arch. Not sure on how you take someone across to Nightfall though.
From Lion's Arch, you need to grab the quest from Lionguard Figo:

Just started Nightfall and my Eye of the north has just turned up !
Anyone else got eye of the north and if so willit be easy to tell when im in the new part of the game as it all seems to join together. Will I be able to tell when I go back onto a nightfall bit ?
Eye of the North is set in the Shiverpeaks. Snowy area to the far north on the Prophecies map, as long as you have a lvl 20 character you get a quest to head up that way.
Now that I've finished Bioshock will be heading back onto Nightfall as I'm around halfway through that one.
