Arr, they let me down again! Beware they are stupuid and useless!!!
They fall off the map and get stuck under land!
Start fights with things you could of run past!
Dont resurect you!
Dont follow you after saying they will and make you run all the way back across the map to get them!!!!!!!
Any other woes? Jsut goes to show that playing with real people is more fun/ rewarding!
Never had any of that happen to me...
Usually I avoid wandering creatures, but then they start on the NPCs. Usually I'm the last to die, but when I do die I usaully get resurected.
Remember, they're only human ;)
Oh, also if anything they DON'T start fights, which really pisses me off. Say there's a group of people we're fighting, they kill one and stand around getting hit until I tell them what to do!
And you have to share gold and (i think) experience

The NPCs will revive you if they can. Sometimes they won't revive you, say if they don't have a Ressurection Signet or other revive spell, or if they are in the middle of a battle. They know that if they stop fighting to revive you they will be left defenseless; they can't heal, they can't attack, they can't do anything except stand and revive you. That's why NPCs wait until it's clear before doing it.
As for falling beneath the map, yes, that is the most annoying thing in the world to happen. I'm praying that in a newer build of GuildWars they'll give us the ability to kick people out of the mission/group area if they're being a tit/getting stuck under the land and preventing you from continuing.
The NPCs that follow you are quest ones, which aren't the same as AI Henchmen. They do follow you normally... If they don't, maybe you're not giving them enough time to respond to you? I don't know, but I've never had the problem myself.
Real people aren't always more fun/rewarding. Today I had a perfect group of real people, yet there was one idiot n00b who kept running out in front and getting himself killed. It made the entire mission ridiculously hard.
Yeah, but your main hobby is pwning n00bs. So you would say that.
