Hexus Horde Raid - 57+ LBRS

    Date: Tuesday 17th May
Time: 7:30pm start - meet in Kargath
    Players: Max of 10
    Required lvl: 57+

Current lvl 57+ names i can remember offhand:
    Madocks
    FatherOfTime
    Lilith
    Lummie
    Mattak
    Velan
    Slarys
    GP / RP

If my numbers are correct we are 1 man short, would be nice to find a preist / tank to come along.

LBRS can be done with 5 man, 10 man it's easy. It's UBRS that's the hard one, need 15 for that
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.

Personally I'd like to "finish" BRD...still have 2 quests in there and I'm sure there are a few more (one leads to an escort quest, I know that much)...there's a few elites that have nice loot, and so on. More than happy to do LBRS, but those are my thoughts...

I know Lilith needs more dark iron, and would rather like to smelt a bar sometime

Will be on regardless and go with the majority!

Nooo don't smelt dark iron bars....

They are of no benefit at present. The ore is needed for reputation with the thorium brotherhood much more than anything else at present...

Chief person that needs this is azog. He's got 4 purple reciepes to get from these guys, so as soon as i hit lvl 300 in blacksmithing all my thorium and dark iron ore is his...

Mainly as his plate and mail reciepes he gets are of huge benefit to the guild...

Perhaps a BRD run would be better - i also have quests to tidy up in there..........

However, organising a 10 man raid, will make sure no one gets left out.

Raid means no quests are completed if you're going in BRD.

How good are the crafted items compared to the blue set items? I can't access Thott to check from here.

    Dark Iron Bracers
    Binds when picked up
    Wrist Plate
    394 Armor
    +7 Stamina
    +18 Fire Resistance
    Requires Level 54
Sells for 1 Gold 26 Silver 37 Copper to vendors

    Fiery Chain Girdle
    Binds when equipped
    Waist Mail
    214 Armor
    +10 Stamina
    +9 Intellect
    +8 Spirit
    +24 Fire Resistance
    Requires Level 54
Sells for 1 Gold 86 Silver 10 Copper to vendors

Are the only 2 that are listed on thottbot.... and that apparently is the worst two reciepes.... I'd rip your arm off for either...

What you going to do with Dark iron bars??. If the blacksmiths haven't got any worthwhile reciepes to build them with?.

The two dark iron reciepes i've got just aren't useful. Those two are without a doubt the most useful things i've seen for ages. Warriors will want those bracers for the HUGE amount of armour and fire resistance....

And i'm sure all shaman and maybe even the hunters will want that belt...

Regards the thorium brother hood if people are wondering what we are discussing, here is a bit of reading for you..

    Thorium Brotherhood Reputation
It takes 3,000 Reputation to achieve Friendly, which works out to 600 Dark Iron Ore (550 if you are Human) or 40 Core Leather (36 for human). It takes 6,000 additional Reputation to become Honored (a total of 9,000), which comes to 1,200 more Dark Iron Ore or 80 Core Leather (1,100 or 72 for Human), or a total of 1,800 Dark Iron Ore or 120 Core Leather (1,640 or 108 for Human). It takes 12,000 additional Reputation to become Revered (total of 21,000). It takes 21,000 additional Reputation to become Exalted (total of 42,000). It is clear that the intended path is to farm Core Leather, filling in with some Dark Iron Ore. Since the Ancient Core Hounds in Molten Core have an 18 minute respawn, a guild Raid Group can set up camp and farm and skin them as they respawn. Friendly and even Honored is doable. Revered and Exalted would be very time consuming.

The new patch also adds 7 turn-in quests with a new Thorium Brotherhood NPC in Gadgetzan (who stands next to Trenton). Besides giving you the 7 plans for the Imperial Plate armor set, these also give about 200 Reputation points each wiht the Thorium Brotherhood, taking you halfway to Friendly.
