    PvP: For "lower levels"

    http://www.wow-europe.com/en/pvp/warsong-gulch.html

    I quote "In addition, players will be grouped by level sets of 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, and 51-60."

    Hope that makes some people happy
    Well Hello!

    or another tip for us lower levels. Go to a raid at crossroads with 53 level 60 chars then me being level 20 stand back and watch the carnage unfold and recieve honour kills for being there Don't make the mistake I do of going to a raid, getting eager to hit things, then do a flame strike on a level 60 god elite tauren who then proceeds to kill you in 2 hits

    Should of seen it last night, I was the bait, got them chasing me, used nove frost to freeze them, then the other guys came right in and wiped out the crossroads in 2 minutes, thats the fastest raid I have ever seen. Then we hit the main city for the horde and we got wiped, no one was there first of all, then all of a sudden 200 off horde players, should of seen us mages teleport out of there and dropping miles out, we were very easy targets. I am only lvl20 so I went to have a look. I must admit, your main city is impressive. Being alliance I never seen it, spent most my time getting seriously lost finding my corpse lol.

    You're not on Arathor are you?

    There was a raid on Org last night too, about 8pm. When I arrived they were all dead. But there was still around 50 guards and 20 Horde players standing about. Then, all of a sudden, ALL the Alliance ressed at once! I used my AoE spells and did hundreds of damage to each one as they guards and other high level chars took 'em out, got loads of kills!

    Hopefully will get some good CP from them now, I'm actually starting to hurt peeps. I did 500+ damage and an extra 250+ with Ignite to a lvl ?? Mage, he died as he ran off!

    I'll try and find the link to a video of 3 allience mages decimating a room PACKED full of horde, they resed and AoE spammed all at the same time, they must have had at least 30 kills within 5 secs.

    The Horde were waiting at the enterance to the battlegrounds on one of the test serevrs (this won't happen in the real version due to changes in the queuing system), so they were semi-afk, but still, it's funny to watch
    I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.

    I can imagine a group of mages being extremely powerful in a PvP system. Especially against all those guards that pop up when raiding. Thing is though, I wouldn't want to be the most powerful mage there, taking all that aggro!

    Also, I find that I can rarely use my Frost or Fire AoE spells in PvP situations. If I get too close to the group of Alliance, I'm dead, if I wait to cast them, I'm dead.

    Fireballs are the way to go for me, untill we get a group of warriors with balls who will run in and take aggro away from us!

    lol - the only way to help as a warrior in pvp in that sense is if our actions are all properly co-ordinated i.e. healers healing us while we charge in and distance DPS moving up with heavy artillery from behind.

    I think once we have practised some tactics we can be a very efficient alliance killing machine

    Sadly if warriors charge atm = instant death
    Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
    Enwrought with golden and silver light,
    The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
    Of night and light and the half-light,
    I would spread the cloths under your feet:
    But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
    I have spread my dreams under your feet;
    Tread softly, because you tread on my dreams.

    Just wait for the higher levels, mana shield, blink, AoE spam Need a few mages for that though, can't do enough damage to kill anything on your own.

    Charge in on horseback, dismount, offload as much AE as you can in ~5s, blink out. It rocks.

    We did a 2 mage, 2 warlock charge, with a priest for heals and wiped out about 3 times our number before.

    Allen it was at 8pm on Sunday, we were the first group in, wiped the crossroads then we marched up to your main city, forget the name, although whispers were funny, people saying "are you mad, lvl20 and you are in their main city" my reply "yeah, taking a stroll"

    Anyway we were the first wave, the guild I am in and another guild made an alliance instead of merging and I was told the 50+ charcs that turned up was their smallest raid lol When you joined you would of had the second wave with was the other guild stragglers taking on crossroads while we were in the city trying to kill the king got him to half health then all of a suddeen shamens appear and that was it, 50+ alliance in the chamber firing off everything we had, the fraps vid will look amazing for that one with me blinking all over the place, problem is, for the alliance on the Arathor server, us mages are very thin on the ground :/

    Still can't understand why you guys bother with XR? It's hammered every day making questing/travelling very difficult for level 12-25's which is not fair IMO as it's a PvE server and people shouldn't have to go out of their way coz of groups of Alliance wimps chose to raid a small popular town coz they know they can wipe it out easily.

    Shame Alliance can't hear what we say when the Alliance raid, shame they can't hear the insults and the laughter as we sit there watching them waste their time, but also wasting ours. At least you made up for it by "trying" (and failing) to raid Orgrimmar....

    Good to know. Mages are dangerous in PvP. Last night I was fighting in XR for once, instead of TM (got fed up with people moaning), and about 5 or 6 times I successfully used my Blizzard (which now does 500dmg over 8s) on big groups of Alliance causing many deaths and me to rack up over 70 HK's in a short space of time. Hopefully my CP will be listed today, I'm hoping for about 700-1000 CP's for that lot, as most of the time my fireballs were landing for 400-500 each, fireblasts around 300-400, and in one occasion I took out 3 guys at once by AoE spamming, though they must have been hurt by the guards already!

    Mages are pretty thin on my server too, at least judging by the number of tells I get to join instance groups.
