Right guys this will be my last post on the subject as its gone on far too long allready and I think my views are clear from the other thread:
To quote myself:
"I view the guild more as a collection of friends who "want" to help each other rather than are made to by imposing demotions/expulsions."
"I think that punishments wouldn't be needed as people would soon notice people not helping others and in tun these people would recieve little or no help back."
"If im made guild master ill do my best to encourage helping others but unless extreme circumstances arise I wont be forcing anyone to do anything."
However this is not to say that if sombody is behaving inapropriately nothing will be done, If I recive complaints from members that the officers agree merit looking into, action will be taken. However I dont feel that so far anything other than a quiet word has been required.
I also would like to appoint a couple more officers representing the more casual players so the voices of people lower down in the levels are fairly heard and considered.
As GM I just want to do my best to keep things running smoothly and everybody having fun playing the game as they wish.
I think we have all agreed that everyone in guild should send a mail to Thor asap stating your choice to keep the whole process impartial. Also as has been said before, if after a while you are not happy with the way I do the job we can have a talk and if needed find sombody else - However I dont envisage any problems as I intend to run te guild in the same manner as done so far by Thor, whom I feel did a great job.
