Two people have loaned me in game funds (though I know one doesn't wish me to think of it as a loan).

I had to think long and hard about accepting it. I did not, and still do not, like the idea of being somwhat beholden to people - but then I realised that is what being part of a guild is all about. Putting your 'money', 'heart', 'trust', 'action' where your mouth is (to the benefit of others). People (and fortunately I can't think of anyone in the guild) can say one thing and do another simply because they can, but in being part of a guild, it is the collective that benefits everyone more than the sum of the individuals.

So, I borrowed some funds. I felt somewhat tied to the game in order to work up the refund, but I am happy that my guild partners are happy to see the guild progressing (as individuals) for the good of the guild. So I am happier and no longer feel tied (excpet by complete desire to play all day everyday for fun).

Err..........have I gone on too much here? Top and bottom, a guild, Hexus in particular, is about putting your action where your mouth is and supporting and promoting the good of the guild (since it benefits all).

Who will get my vote.............happy to tell if asked. I would make no secret of it. But will post to Thor as I trust him to be fair and honest.

As for deep booming voices, I have had to turn the TS down a bit on the few occasions used. Someone was talking about bikini's in the middle of SM...thats what it sounded like Turned out to be liferoot ..........don't ask

Of what relevance is that to anyone else other than you and Leon? I'll tell you; it isn’t. Any one who posted in this thread has done so that they may express their thoughts and those that wish to be interested are welcome. Dismissing all these thoughts as bullshot is not nice and some may take offence friend. Not me though, just my thoughts

Impy after reading your post it has made me realise that alot of people will be voting for the person that has helped them the most in game. I think it would be shame to vote for someone who has say sent you some 16 slot bags; whilst the other guy hasn't. Why? because it's alot easier for a lvl60 to send you useful items than say a lvl40. For a lvl40 to send you an item such as the one mentioned it would have been a HUGE effort for him to do so. I am not posting this to influence votes, as it is far too late for that. I guess what i'm trying to say is (ERU stands on a letterbox - megaphone in hand) "Ask not what your Guild can do for you ... but what you can do for your Guild"

I don't disagree; there is a potential that votes will come down to who may have got what - but voting has to be based on something. Abd since all runners are high lvl, there is no real difference between what each of them could have done for us.

I was trying to state that it is those that put there efforts in to helping others (at whatever level) to benefit the guild, are the type of people we need to head up the guild.

Rhyth would have my vote if he ran, simply because he has helped everyone I have seen since lvl 6/7,inside and outside the guild at whatever lvl.

I have not yet figured out who Tig and others are in relation to their in game names, so I am fortunate that I can't tie anyone to the voting . Of those that have loaned me stuff, RP isn't up for guild leader as far as I am aware, but would still be a good candidiate for all the hard work she puts in to help others (and yes to an extent her lvl helps, but the other day a lvl 52 RP helped my lvl 37 priest simply to assist, great guild play).

So whilst I agree, the fact that the runners are high lvl evens the field a bit. At least this far in, its just remembering how people got to where they are and who helped on the way if you want to look at it that way.
