1.2b ain't official its a leaked version of the new patch thats still bein developed, its not availdable anywhere official although there are a few people hosting it
I was wondering with all the threads about it. Anything significant in it? Have they fixed those super AI gunners yet. That really annoys the heck outta me.
Don't think the uber gunners have been dumbed down, tho its worth getting hold of for the P-51 Mustang, the A6M Zero and the Ki.. something or other... plus the non-flyable B-17!
Oh and the Normandy Map pack... which I still can't get to work...
Theres a thread in this forum about how to run the two different patches without having to do a re-install to play each version.

il-2 with rockets does reasonably well against em, can only do one pass though

I find if you wait until the gunners have opened up with their initial burst they aren't as super human after that. Still too good but not super human as they are with that first burst or bullet even.
