Now w're getting an idear pool going. Very key demographic. When we have a few more in we should start making combinations.
Yeah, I think they colour scheme idea is good. Let keep thinking.
The reason I chose the chequered pattern was because I thought it kind-of looked like bits/bytes of a file being streamed, haha.
It's a shame we can't get the swords to be a more vivid orange though. I tried lightening the red up a bit, but it just turns pink, and the other yellow-ish colours turn brown or mustard.
As for monitoring who has paid their share for the cape: maybe we could just list everyone's names in the guild message-of-the-day thing. If one of the officers is online, just come give us your share, and we'll pass it on to Ferral/Connor at some point and put a (p) next to your name in the list.
It's not very elegant, but it saves creating a new thread here and filling it with pointless posts saying "ok, X has paid."
It'll also pop-up everytime a member logs in, so it'll act as a sort of reminder.
Does that idea suck?

Just aim to get the orange the same as the HEXUS X, deep but vivid, possibly have the bottom part of the cape the same colour as the HEXUS gaming, dark red colour and have the main part of the cape a light blue the same as the rest of the board and HEXUS logo, definately go with the crossed swords as its closest to the X.
I can just keep running about killing monsters and selling stuff till I hit the 2K mark for the capes. Stick to the Ascalon and Breach areas as it will make my XP rise and also loads of stuff to sell for funds. Shouldnt take to long really as I have around 600 at the minute.

There's also a rapier and rose crossed towards the far right of the list, which I think looks much more like an X, but it's a bit camp, haha!definately go with the crossed swords as its closest to the X.
ah in a way i wish id just waited for GW rather than jumping into WoW but then there both great games
since ur all thinking about designs im going to be cheeky and show u what we'r using even tho you'v prob already seen it
Dont know how limited you are with the designs in GW but we were quite limited I felt in wow...

Cape 3 does look good! We could try working some red in instead of the white, but i think its fine. Though i still like the raged cape.
