    Going Tailoring..dropping mining

    Pretty soon, too, unless there are major objections.

    Why? Because I'm finding that I'm outputting less ore now that I'm not questing "out there" so much, so its not that useful....

    ...and because by tailoring I can sustain enchanting much better. I'm in dire need of greater nether essences, and I just can't get them right now...but if I'm a tailor I can farm whatever to make stuff to get nether.

    So, will be doing some bits and bobs, probably gathering of stocks today, then begin the swap tomorrow or late today.

    I know this hasn't been as polite as Mad's thread, but...I reckon me and mining are pretty useless right now, because its not actually helping anyone very much...

    Anyway let me know if this is gonna be a prob!
    Well Hello!

    What do you need to make nether essences? I can make it for you!

    They are a 30% disenchant from Black mageweave headbands http://www.thottbot.com/?i=3695. Very simple to make.. I'll do you some tonight when I get on. I've been passing mageweave to lower level tailors, they should be able to make these also.. about 230 tailoring required!

    I can also make these: http://www.thottbot.com/?i=4281 by the bucketload.

    These: http://www.thottbot.com/?i=8204 require 2 ironweb spider silk each... let me know and I'll go farming.

    Yup you can...but I could do it myself, plus do mooncloth, and make nice cloaks...mining is pointless for me coz I don't go near mines...did a respec last night to get rid of wasted talent points, want to do the same for my skills and mining right now is just not cutting it, and every other thing requires a second skill...except tailoring!

    To be honest I think the guild needs miners more than it needs tailors. We have several tailors approaching a high level slowly, but arcane crystals are short in supply!

    I agree with you, but I'm just not doing any mining lately...I'm not grinding out where all the thorium veins are, I'm picking up the odd bit of mithril, truesilver and thorium, but in such low quantities as to be useless...I spend time in instances, but not much questing out where the veins are...

    Lots of veins in Dire Maul.

    Can we do a last trip to BRD before you quit? I need 5 more Dark Iron Ore!

    I can do dark Iron now
    Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
    Enwrought with golden and silver light,
    The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
    Of night and light and the half-light,
    I would spread the cloths under your feet:
    But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
    I have spread my dreams under your feet;
    Tread softly, because you tread on my dreams.

    I think I can make Mageweave Headbands, and if I can, I can level from them too. Still need 5 levels to start making Mooncloth, and I'm pretty sure Lilith needs that.
