For the life of me I cannot think of much we would not want others to see. You may think that keeping the little bit of disagreement locked up out of sight from others woulfd be helpful, but we want people in the guild for their honesty and openness and trust.

Keeping any guild problems out of sight to the public does not mean members are not being open and honest at all, in fact, it gives members a chance to be even more open by being able to express any resentment and/or problems they encounter within the guild, which members are restrained on doing at the moment. Have any of you noticed that there hasn't been any polls set up lately? No-one wants the polls to have uninvited votes in them from non-guild members.


Tig, please tell me what has this topic got anything to do with you? If HH was eventually granted a private subforum, what benefit or loss would that be to you since you are no longer part of the guild? Your excuse of having a private subforum being a drain on resources is rather weak, as it takes maybe a couple of minutes to setup, and since we have mods/admins in the guild already, they'll mod the section which they visit regularly already. And dude, as for being 'ungrateful', people living in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

We already have a private thread for the Officers only, and that's all we need really.

Anything else can be discussed in the main forum.
