To go into it a bit more, basically here's the deal. Some people (mainly the Chinese) will pay an absolutely pittance to their "employees" to play WoW on several accounts for 24 hours a day (obviously with some kind of rotation) making as much gold as possible on as many servers as possible. This gold is then sold for stupid amounts (real money) online to those sad enough to buy it. It ruins the game and it ruins the community.Originally Posted by GreenPiggy
Blizzard are aware of this and have put a stop to many accounts so far, but it still must be happening!
you are right, as far as i am concerned (i have met several gold farmers, and chatted with them in Chinese, as I can speak CHinese myself), normally they could farm 100-150 golds/ day, and for every 1 gold farmed they get 0.5 RMB, for your information 1 GBP>= 15RMBOriginally Posted by Allen
iit's pretty cruel as u said.. it's not those farmers' fault, i really hate their bosses...those who are behind the scenes. I had great chat with one guy (who is a farmer), someday he got banned, and we lost contact.

If ya sad enough to pay for a program that lvls and gets u gold !!!
I saw a program on the TV about it, it wasn't in china though, might have been Russia, and people working there liked it, the pay was a little better than one guys job as a barman, but it did have long hours.
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.
