IL-2 Lessons: Who want's help?

OK, it seems to me that some of you guys have the very first IL-2, cos its damn cheap, and no where to fly and no one to teach you.

So...cos I'm nice, and IF it has enough interest: Zak will run a few tutorial evenings. If you want.

So...the essentials will be: IL-2 the original game (which so far I have never ever played, but is essentially the same as the recent ones, but older....DOH)
Broadband
Joystick
Keen attitude
and EARS....that's people who LISTEN (well....read) my instructions, when I want them too.

Patches...hmm....good idea...will work on that

righty patches.. you need the "out of the box" 1.1 patch, and then the 1.2ov patch. the ov patch is exactly the same as the 1.2 vanilla patch, but with some folders opened for editing that weren't previously. Howeer, the ov patch is the only one that seems available so get that one

These patches improve flight models and also give you extra planes like the i-16 and i-153 to fly

I would love to get back in the air, but I have a HUGE exam coming up and WOW is a tad time consuming as well. Perhaps after the exam.
