In battle grounds i think Alliance will struggle, they have had it all thier own way for way too, they get used to the shear wieght of numbers they have, where as the horde has to of been resourcefull, cunning and very clever to claim victories.
I think for a while at least it will take the alliance by suprise - I HOPE :)
But as I said before, when I'm level 60 (heh, yeah right) I'd have nothing to complain about, as it will be fair. As a cloth wearer I have to appreciate that I will be an easier target for melee fighters, but I also know that I will be able to deal a lot more damage to them. The whole thing that gets me is that a lot of the time a lvl ?? Rogue will inst-kill me, a level 40 cloth wearer, whilst fighting amongst a group outside TM, or XR. This really gets on my tits as it's an unfair fight. Not only is it a waste of time as they get no honour for it, but it's a waste of time as I'm not a challenging target to them. It's pointless. Sorry, but I totally disagree. If I was a level 60 rogue (on either side) I wouldn't bother wasting my time going for a lvl 40 cloth wearer who would give me no honour, I'd go for a lvl 55-60 cloth/leather wearer. Reasons are:Quote:

I've not seen horde rogues hitting lvl 40 mages, they pick their targets better than most and do usually pick out lvl 60 cloth wearers. From my experience of alliance killing, lvl 40 mages, warlocks, priests have around the 1500-2000 HP mark at full health.
Using chain lightning at a 60 will often hit lvl 40's for ~400 points of dmg, follow that up with a single shock for 500-600, and you had a lvl 40 that is getting to sub 50% health.
You die too easily, yet of all the classes you have the best chance of damaging lvl 60 characters. LVL 40 warriors do crap to me as i have 43.3% dmg reduction to lvl 60's likely to be 60+% to 40's i guess.
You don't want fair fights tho allen, you say in the other pvp thread, you are not going to move to lvl 41 and go to warsong gulch because of the fact you'll then be the lowest lvl there.
Sooner you realise the whole WoW universe is a team game, with guild and non guild members alike i'm sure it will work out better that the view of 1vs1.
Chivalry which i think is what you seem to want to have died out in the 14th century hehe ;)

40 Alliance including 10 lvl 38-44's
25 Horde all lvl 60 (Probably a little more than usual but bear with me :))
Who kills the 38-40??? If we are all honourable and not cowardly?
Different perspective, a lvl60 rogue can possibly kill 3-5 enemies that are a lower level (40ish) thus allowing his sides casters (Healers) to do their job uninterupted. Also takes 3-5 enemies out of the game for 2-3minutes, they can deal a lot of kills in that 2-3 minutes while 3-5 lvl40's are out of the game.......
Now multiply that by 3 rogues, taking out 9-15 enemies and you have a well organised group that is completing their objective, taking down TM, XR, Orggri....what ever, point is the game cannot work the way you would like it to, even if we were all HONOURABLE and not COWARDLY!

That may be an accurate figure, but if 5 or 6 lvl 40's are on you at the same time, you aint lasting as long as you would like to think ;).......and that is where the rogue's role comes into WoW :)Quote:

As i said before , honour in war is a joke , even in medieval times , only knights respected each other , if they saw a pikeman or a bowman helpless in the battlefield or capture it they would killed them without breaking a sweat , even the japanese samurais ( the most honourable warriors that existed ) didnt have any problem to kill a helpeless foe.
Honour in battle is a hollywood invention , when you go to war espect to kill or be killed , nothing more , nothing less.
And , yes , this is just a game :p
I doubt it. The vasy majority of lvl ?? I attack resist my casts, I very rarely see and guys lvl 40-50 who I can almost successfully attack, they all die before my fireballs get anywhere near them.Quote:

Maybe the people stealthing up and hitting you from behind are just putting the RPG in MMORPG and playing their character to type. Can't really argue with that :)

I've already said defending yourself against anybody wouldn't be considered cowardly. I laughed my ass off when Leon at lvl 54 went PvP enabled in Darkshore and these level 15-20 guy started hitting him, doing sod all damage. He could've just ignored him, but since the other guy attacked, he killed him with one instant shock thing.Quote:

This is the reason I walk around with a rogue, someone is going to attack me i will say to him that i can handle it and to keep out of this one.. he still gets a HK for being in the group and he is also watchin my back.. if someones comin up behind me he can sap.. stab.. grot all he wants but more to the point.. the alli that is comin up behind me doesnt even think twice about attacking me he just jumps in the first chance he gets..
