rogue, warrior or paladin? (WoW)

from those with experience with either class or all. I'm going to roll a new alt on world of warcraft, but I just can't decide which of these 3 I want to make.

primarily I want to pvp, however I want to be able to get into instances of all kinds and levels (on my way to 60), atm my preference of what I like is rogue, paladin then warrior.

I know warrior is always required for instances, but is there too many rogues which will cause me alot of hassle or is it just a case of getting into the right guild?

AS you may have noticed I haven't got to 60 yet, I've dabbled with some caster classes and just decided melee is where my hearts at, why no shaman? I just dislike them, why choose gimpadin in this list? I like them. Hehe :)

personal preference is rogue, as i love mine :D loads of damage, fast attacks and some cool skills and quests.

and if you do decide to roll a new, go alliance and join my guild, its ace as father time will agree :D

There's loads of warrior on our server (Arathor-EU), over 20% I think. The problem is finding good warriors :)

I presume from your list of choices (including Paladin) you are thinking of creating an Alliance char? Before you do, check out this site.

There is currently a 2.4:1 activity ratio of Alliance to Horde, so naturally I would say make a Horde char to help ease the balance. ;) But what is interesting is if you narrow it down to just Horde it will tell you that 21% of Horde characters are Warriors, yet only 8% are Priests. Go figure who's needed more!

Also, if you go Alliance, you'll soon moan about how hard it is to get into the BG's and how expensive stuff is on the AH. :P

Don't forget the big red disclaimer on that page:
"There are too few Horde entries for this realm to give reliable results!"

Err, right..... Drawing conclusions? Heh!

I've played on that server since when, February? So have all the people (nearly) who are on here too. One thing we are very aware of is the huge imbalance on our server, and also many other servers. I didn't "draw conclusions", I know about the huge imbalance and I used that site to backup what I was saying. :P

Didn't realise it was nearly 3:1 on Arathor, and the Horde still pwn in BG ;)

Well BGs are number balanced so overall population means nothing in them.

The 3:1 imbalance must be obvious to anyone who's spent even a short while on the server.

:) Our server is roughly 1:1 ratio at the moment but we are noticing more and more scummy humans trying to raid XR all the time.

That doesn't matter. Since our server is a PvE server there are a lot of people who aren't interested in PvP, therefore the chances of Alliance getting into a BG is a lot smaller than it is for us Horde. It's what the Alliance guys complain about most, and our reply is is always "creat a Horde char then". :P

We know our server, everyone knows about the imbalance and how it affects the game and a lot of people are annoyed with Blizzard for allowing this kind of imbalance. That is why I was suggesting a Horde player. :)
