Torpedo!! A lil' treat for Mr. Zak!!

Yesh people, finally I've been able to scrape together enough webspace to bring to you my craft (still perfecting) which just happens to be making videos from games...

This video I call "Torpedo!!" was one of my first projects and was a landmark video in terms of how I capture my footage and edit it...also I was severly limited to how detailed and long it could be as I was using a 30Gb hdd at the time and so I could only really have 8 - 10Gb to throw around which is peanuts for video editing, now though I have a 160Gb hdd and I regularly see some of my projects hitting up to 40Gb!!

All the footage you'll see in Torpedo!!, was recorded at Frosty's mini-LAN about a year ago and we were playing a very daring torpedo mission on our beloved Forgotten Battles, we put all difficulty settings on (it was full-real don't you know!!), admittedly, we were lost on several occasions on the mission, and this was one of two "successful" attempts at this mission...

    ENJOY!!

If the video fails to play with visuals you'll need to download the below file, which is the XviD Koepi Codec...
    http://www.aves21.dsl.pipex.com/codec.exe

P.S. In case you were wondering, I think below is the mission files for that torpedo mission, I think anyway... It was made for the original IL-2 by the way but should work in Aces and Pacific Fighters as well since it worked in the standard Forgotten Battles...
    The files should somewhere like..."C:\Program Files\Ubi Soft\IL-2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles\Missions\Net\coop\ 1"
    http://www.aves21.dsl.pipex.com/torpedomission.rar

By the way, I have better and loads more videos, but be patient I'm working on getting webspace for them... Anyways I'm off to bed...

That was a REALLY early attempt by the way, you should see my new ones...but they're too unpallatable for my webspace at the moment

Frosty and I also did a "tongue-in-cheek" American style tacky air show, really funny and OTT...which I'm currently making networthy as we speak, so keep checking back here...

All of my early videos were only for learning the programs and the codecs and everytime I learned something new I made a new video to show it...

Oh and did you notice how paractically all the boats were going for me (the snowy plane)

Below is my very first ever video EVER!! But I'm still proud of it because I had recently only gotten Forgotton Battles (a few days after launch day for only £14.99!! ) and so I did not have a joystick and was horribly green at the time so there are tags on the aircraft etc.

    My very first video...

To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.
