It depends on how accessible your email address is, rather than if you play WoW or not. I receive spam to one of my mailboxes for all sorts, games I've never played (Aion for example), banks I'm not with (Lloyds etc), but that's coz I use that email address everywhere, and use another for friends/family etc.

With the amount of people playing WoW these days and judging by the amount of people that are foolish enough to click on links in emails (read the official forums to see tens of complaints a day about how people get their accounts "hacked") then I'm not surprised they are being sent out to any and all email addresses people can sell to increase their chances of getting account passwords.

Re: Who's still playing WoW then?

True, that pretty much goes without saying. It's more the quanitity and ferosity of the mails that gets me.. seriously, 10 daily for the past few months.
Don't really use the email address for anything accessible, it's not even the one I used with my WoW account.
I'll just amuse myself filling out my WoW "username" and "password" for them

    Edit:
Just noticed you said you were on Aggramar, that's where I grew up ^^ been there long? Aparantly I'm still a legend on that realm /flex.

I couldn't see any new servers that had been created anyway and that's what I'm after. Thinking of starting a Blood Elf Paladin.

I doubt there will be any new servers any time soon. They have quite a few servers that are either dead on one side or on both, yet also quite a few servers that a full to the brim on one or both sides. I don't know the most recent server to have been released, but if you're wanting to start a new character you might as well wait until Cataclysm as you'll have more choice then.

The green ticks are new combinations. Dunno when release is though, can't be too long as the Lich King is now defeatable and AFAIK there is no further raid content before Cataclysm.

Well I might come and join you on your server then and level with your rogue....

Can we do the recruit a friend?

Edit: I think to do the RaF, I'll have to start a trial account and then merge it with my main Battle.Net account - not sure how that would work!

Sent you a RAF invite. My Rogue is level 16 or something, but I'm sure with 300% exp increase you can level up quick enough. Play a class that can tank (only if you want to of course) and you'll get pretty much instant queue's in LFG all the time.

    Awww, still no Tauren Rogue!

Never mind, haven't played WoW in years now anyway, last time I had a look it seemed to be getting more and more 'casual friendly'. Liked it better when your guild had to raid 4-5 days a week with 40 people to get anywhere Original WoW with AQ40/Naxx is still my favourite time in WoW (I quit a couple weeks before the Black Temple was released).
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.

I agree with you about Vanilla, although personally I think they had it right in TBC (before they took away the requirements meaning you had to advance through normals, then heroics, then lower tier raids etc) and now it's just far too easy in WotLK. A new player can hit 80 in a couple of weeks of relatively casual play, get fully geared up doing random heroics in a couple of weeks and be on the same level as some long term raiders who have worked for months to get where they are. I do understand why they do it, but they are alienating their raider user base by doing this.

    That. Was. Awesome.

I played WoW, a lot, until recently when I moved to university accommodation where they block gaming ports. Was rocking the full relentless rogue!

I have less than 1/6 of your posts and still have about half as many thanks as you, if you want to throw about insults trying to call me a troll's the kind of thing someone who actually had the intelligence of a neanderthal would pick - or someone totally out of touch with reality that they spend all their time sitting on their arse on the internet.
