Yeh guild groups only for the end game instances. I hated UBRS until I did it with a guild group this weekend, was so much faster and easier, totally different experience and got my Devout shoulders

hmm i find that sometimes a group of randoms can have good effects in SOME raids but 90% of em are selfish and need on anything possible =\
it really does help having a guild of friends for instances fortunatly i HATE (with a passion i must say) 58 - 60 instances, strat, scolo, the BRS collection of instances and all the DMs i cannot stand so ive found myself more attune to AV over the last week and figured that not being the PvE type i wouldnt see a point in gettin full SC when im just goin to replace it with AVs revered/exalted and PvP set when i get to that point
AV owns any instance hands down winning or not it rocks

It might be better after 1.9 ( I am no longer prot anyway), so I might try AV again.

Yea pallys and warriors i kinda stick away from unless there are more people attacking them in AV to solo and warrior as assasin/subt spec is quite hard i used to be ok with paladins, 50/50 in most fight with a good pala that knew what they were doing but now even the dumb ones can take me down -.- heh but never mind ^ ^

You might have some unpleasant surprises, particularly with holy/retri paladins. They now have quite a lot of mana and can do some controlled damage.Originally Posted by TheBuZZard

I am thinking of starting to play WoW again after a hefty break - I left just after HEXUS.Horde split up! I only had a level 25 Warrior Is Arathor still fairly active? (Some people have mentioned that a few servers a getting a bit dead..) if so I might come back If its a bit dead now could you lot suggest a decent server?
Cheers,
Craig
arathor is pretty active still on the Alli side which is what my rogue is on although i play on Darksorrow (PvP - "A REAL MANS SERVER") and dont really like PvE ("A REAL GIRLIES SERVER") heh
CAREBEARS!!

Though one good thing did come of the dodgy UBRS run, I won the roll on the Ace of beasts, which another guy after said he needed, feeling sorry for him I gave it to him, and he gave me 10g, which i thought was nice of him.
Watching my friends multi wipe while trying to kill the dragon whose name begins with L, up in Ashenvale Forest was funny, till I got spammed with shadow bolts and died repeatedly too, )
As a mage I find them very very easy (though being alliance that's just duels).Originally Posted by TheBuZZard

2. The class attracts noobs so has a bad rep.
That's Lethon, he's quite fun.Originally Posted by nimbu

u sure he really needed it, cos those things go on our server for about 250-300g
Under Development...
nerf huntars and paladins
started my lock on dreanor, horde side (ofc) and its a good laugh. i know its a pve server, i would have gone pvp server but all my mates are here so we are staying
gotta love draining and cursing things. :>
After playing with the retired Hexus Horde guild on the PvE Arathor server for a long time, I decided to make a fresh start on the newest PvP server, Dentarg. I now have a level 34 Night Elf priest and am loving the challenge of PvP. It gives an edge when you are simply grinding monsters to have a Undead rogue suddenly appear and attack you!Originally Posted by unreal
Yeah, mages are quite tough. I am not fully up to scratch with them yet. The key is to heal early to avoid being counterspelled and unable to heal on low health. Doesn't help that all of our spells are in one school and we get a complete lockoutOriginally Posted by Butcher
But with eye for an eye it should be a bit better. Survive the crits and heal yourself and that mage might just kill himself

someone that plays on a REAL server for once PvP is so much better then pvEEEE =\ IMO anywaysOriginally Posted by Big Leon
Last night i was grindin furbolgs in Winterspring for a little rep whiles waitin for AV and a human rogue appeared behind me didnt attack just /wave and put a mind control helm on... so i wave and /nod at her she took control of me and said hey (if using mind control on an alli/horde you can talk to them via /me (type msg you want them to see here) so, i got my little priest buddy to MC her said hey back and give her +stam buff heh she was fully epixed up so i wasnt messin with her ^ ^
