You are aware that as long as someone is in melee range of him the casters and other ranged can go full out and won't pull aggro, so you can start with them straight away, right? Also you may want to consider curse of recklessness - it increases damage dealt but also damage taken, so if you can cope with healing your tanks you could benefit there.

not strictly true, different spells have different levels of threat, priests are notoriously bad for high-threat spells. If the levels of threat exceeds the Tank Group, from the DPS group, rag should turn to them and start his destruction. However, the tank group shouldn't let that happen, as they can generate huge amounts of threat with some key moves, shield bash and sunder armour, to name a few.

Well we were under impression that casters can go full out from the start on Raggie as long as someone is in melee range. Now the tanks do have to tank coz otherwise rogues get squashed. For example we force rogues to run behinf him at the start of the fight rather than have them stand ready in the spot where they will fight, so that tanks have a few seconds to build aggro but we have always assumed that no ranged will be attacked (well there's knockbacks, true, but its not the same).

If you are thinking that I mean this for all encounters - no, I know how threat works, and this tactic we use very specificly for raggie. Seems to work for us. We have all ranged spread out around the spiral out of melee range, so that if one gets knocked back he won't affect others. Melee are on the inner spiral - seems to work fine.

Is your DPS all in one bunch? Maybe he turns at rogues and others are near and get knocked too?

No, rag's a special case, he'll always attack someone in melee regardless of threat unless there isn't anyone there. So yes casters can go all out from the start.

Yeah, he is rooted so as long as someone is in melee rangehe will choose to hit them rather than the people at range, and when there's no-one in melee range the 5k fireblasts hurt
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.

I also think Illusion or Envy from alli have started it aswell but not 100% sure I think they were just going to see what it was like

Who is your toon btw, You may have either seen me on Scum or Paín they are my two 60s my pally is called "Savedjoo" (yep a healadin) but Darksorrow is a very high pop server so its hard to remember most people =\ lol

currently playing a 48 human warrior called Omnipotens (gay name but hey) ive just started a priest on Ravenholdt RP server called Paramedic, as darksorrow was down with lag for weeks. Saw an ENVY player in Gadget with full tier 2 full epics, so i think they might be going to do Naxx soon. As for illusion, they've kind of disappeared off the scene i think. Guild of Honour, Chaos Theory, ENVY and Flying Circus have taken the crown.

U heard of Mutley?
