Which MMORPG's are you looking forward to?

Post a link or two of up and coming titles that look most promising

A friend showed me this. First person MMORPG with a huge fanbase. PvP focused with several races, Morrowind style levelling system and a large world to explore- looks awesome, too.

'Realistic' MMORPG. Harsh death penalty, no instances, no fast travel. Definitely not going to appeal to everyone, but will certainly have a very loyal following from its players. Microsoft are behind this and there are a million features worth mentioning, which is why I recommend you give the FAQ a read.

having a look at the second one there, seems pretty good imo, uses a good phrase to describe it

    "more challenging than tedium"

    Under Development...

I'm looking forward to Dark And Light. It has a gameworld bigger than Holland and looks really good.

auto assault is the one i am looking forward to. Like a MMO meets Streets of simcity.

You just can go wrong with it

atm, i cant get myself away from Planetside, love the game, but i feel it is going down hill. Too many people complaining and Devs are dropping like flies, and not beign replaced.

PS2 would be nice, but i doubt it will ever come.

Mythic the people who did DAoC are doing it now, rather than Climax.

    I enjoyed that tutorial!

Yep - the newbie zones are empy, (everyone is in the tutorial!) and you really have to know exactly where to go if you want groups. Or have second accounts etc. I'm really stuck though - still have some mates that play EQ2 - but there is no challenge there. And EQ has challenge and requires some IQ to play, but its so annoying at times!

Warhammer - Age of Reckoning is the provisional title for the Mythic MMPORG currently in development. The forum for lots of Warhammer related discussion can be found at :

    http://www.warhammeronlineforum.com/

and although it is set for a 2007 release, it sounds as though development is already moving along very nicely and a beta could be on the horizon in 6months or so (fingers crossed

At the moment I am very much enjoying the public beta of Face of Mankind. It has a nice futuristic setting and a FPS combat system. There are plently of nifty features such as:

    1) After death you are cloned.
    2) No items automatically respawn in stores - they are all player made and sold on markets.
    3) There is a really good political system at the heart of the game. Several different factions aim to control over 20 worlds and space stations.
