    Auto-logging/tracks?

Just wondering if anyone knows of any method of automatically creating track files of the online dogfights?

Hit escape, then hit start recording, its near the bottom, somewhere around the disconnect button, in the same section as it iirc.

Yeah, I found that, I just wondered if there was a way to do it automatically as I keep forgetting lol, one of the guys in one of the dogfights said there was some automatic solution but neglected to tell me what..

I got a button assigned on my joystick ( lthough you could designate a key on keyboard of course).... to "Quick Start/Save track" in the controls ( near the bottom)

Not "automatic" as such.. but much easier to use.. its a toggle switch.. i.e. start recording - stop recording etc

FRAPS is the easiest thing I have found to date... using the free version (1.9A worked for me.. otheres may find 1.9D more suitable)

THe trick is to set FRAPS going when viewing the recorded track.

Set Fraps capture at 15 fps, and film most of your captures from a track file running at half-speed.

I then recoded it using VIdeoMach to bring down the file size drastically (with a drop in quality) and change the clips back to 30fps.. to have normal speed playback

.. but then again I use Win2k so aint got that XP movie maker thingy

virtual dub is another one I have used.. and thinking of going back to that after reading some of the posts in movie maker forums here and there.

Best codecs to be used are latest xvid or divx

I might just knock one up to test....
