As the two aren't compatible, many people aren't having a go with the P51 since they think they won't be able to play online games and easily swap between the two.
I've found a way of having the best of both worlds. :)
- Create two folders.. one called 1.1, the other called 1.2
- Goto your FB directory..
- Copy files.SFS il2_core.dll and mg_snd.dll into the 1.1 directory.
- Install the 1.2 beta
- Copy the same files into your 1.2 folder.
Job done.
To play 1.2, copy the files from your 1.2 folder into the FB root directory. To play 1.1, copy the files from the 1.1 folder into your FB directory. :)
Just tried it, worked for me. So now you get the best of both worlds without 2 installs.
