I had a play yesterday with it set to maximum as per IL2Setup and did a 2v4 DF, 2-39's vs 4-190, me and my wingman won

Anyways, no slowdown or anything, mite have a poke about with extra cooling on the GFX card and OC it a bit until it blows up...

the WORST time for SLow down is when you go into a full ZOOM mode.

It tries SO HARD to draw the details it grinds to a halt

I run the game at highest settings, with 4xAA and 16xAF on too, looks nice

Still need to practice taking off though, find it a tad hard to not spin, or stay down about the right amount of time to take off and actually be able to climb.

Force Feedback makes it a tab difficult though...

I really cant get on with FFSA n all that on my 8500 text goes blurry as hell and my eyes start to go funny when I try to read it, is it better on the newer cards?
I'm pretty sure my cards borked anyways, it seems to be getting worse for weird jaggies n going all kaledescopey....

Trig.....no pint doing the AA thing on a Rad8500....but the simple fact is thatyou have a reasonable frame rate at 1024x768x32 with reasnable detail settings...

Hat and Tumble CAN'T...at all.....it will be , as Tumble pointed out, 6 fps

UN USEABLE

Its why I am trying to get a small batch of "out of date" cards.....

ie, stuff thats faster than most of your cards already...for cheap as possible.

I wanna get some Geforce 4200Ti cards if possible...like Skii's but with more 128mb DDR.
