    Combat Flight Sims

Which one's are still being played then? I'm guessing some of you still play IL-2, what about Lock On?

I wanna get back in the air, MMO's are getting a little boring now, so wanna play something else, and I dusted off my stick last night but was too tired to actually fly. Anyway, I bet both IL-2 and Lock On have been updated by even newer versions now...

/me goes back to remembering the days of formation flying in Lock On with a few other people from here, was good fun.

I never quite got LOMAC ....was beyond my brain to deal with IL2/Forgotten Battles/Pacific Fighters and now PE-2 add ons...but that's cos I'm old!

I love my MMO's, but still return, weekly, to IL2 becasue it is a great great leveler. No matter how good you think your plane is, if you're cack...you die. In LIneage 2 once you'r uber, you're uber!

LOMAC is a bit too difficult to play from a desktop imo - fb/il2's beauty is it's apparent simplicity

    took me three years

seriously though......shooting stuff should involve the pilots ability to point the plane, not use a PDA !

I'm still playing Operation Flashpoint. There's not been a good Combat flight sim since the days of EF2000 from Ocean!

well, dear chap, you should go find £10 for the complete Forgotten Battles/Aces Expansion/Pacific Fighters DVD that's in PC World , and then a further 15 for the PE addon.

That 25 will pay you in pleasure, pain, misery, and excultation...you mark my words

Then grab Hyperlobby and go get shot down :/
