    Just got a Track-IR

I picked up one of these cheap. (£40)

I must say they are bloomin fantastic, it makes it even more emersive. I scared myself last night whilst shooting down DB-3's in my 109!

I was really suprised at how well it works. It also makes flying proper approches in FS2004 alot easier. Takes getting used too, it's strange because you don't have to move your head very much in real life to get alot of movement ingame. This has the effect of fooling your neck into thinking it has moved further than it has. Very odd, you get used to it though.

I can totally recommend one of these, even at £84 full price.

I also picked up an X45 cheap (£45 new) to replace my Logitech wingman strike force. It is very good, will take a while to configure all the buttons for FB though.

Don't think there is anything else I can add to my PC now!

How does Track IR interface with the computer tho?, i take it games would require the ability to use two interfaces to work?.

If i could use this with things like mechwarrior 4 merc's i'd considure using it but i'd need to be able to use it in more than IL2FB

Maybe even use it in raven shield for full emmersion?

I got it used for £40

It has several modes, it can work as a Hatswitch or a Mouse. In IL2 you put it in mouse mode.

You are supposed to be able to use it in FPS but I haven't tried it yet.

Most games can accpet input from anything listed under gaming devices. No matter how many there are.

Must admit I wouldn't have bought one full price, because I was unsure of what they were like, but now I am half tempted to buy a Version 2.
