    Will xfire slow connection?

    I am going to get WOW but i have xfire will that slow my connection down and cause me lag in the game?

    if it helps here are some details of my connection:

    Downstream 7,232 Kbps

    Upstream 448 Kbps

    It doesn't affect my pings at all, and you have double my speed.

    I have been using xfire for a while in FPS games such as Battlefield on a 2meg line (4 times less than yours) and that hasn't affected the speed as far as I've seen.

    The only problem you might get is that when your net connection gets dropped, xfire does not automatically activate it again.

    I've used xFire on a 512k connection as well. Doesn't affect it at all.

    i was worried about it slowing my connection down when i first installed it a couple of months ago but as everyone else has said it does not effect speeds at all!
