I think the worst part is re-mapping my X45. I did actually manage to use the radar system in LOMAC, although my PC at the time lagged like a biatch once more than a couple of aircraft turned up. Baz, you back at work this week?

Read the spec needed to play it, and remember it's a DX8 game...

What's special about this game is that the cockpit is fully interactive. You don't actually have specific 'screens' for each system in the chopper - you just look and zoom in. It fully supports Track IR to make things easier so you 'look' around the monitor to simulate head movement. All of this is a proper first in helecopter combat sims which is what all the fuss is about.

They're saying that the difficulty will be scaleable so you don't need to know every single control to still play it. Obviously there will be a hardcore mode for the proper nutters (like me ) but everyone else will be able to pick it up and play. I still would say it'll be a bit more tricky to fly than BF2 though.

Im tempted to put Lomac back on just to see how great I look wizzing along (Sexy new cpu and grahics card installed yesterday)

But (and its Lowes fault for showing me this game) I just cannot get on with flight sims that arnt in your face, whites of the eyes, full blown gunfights....

IL2 still the best combat sim ever? Well I do believe it is
