    How to improve flight performance

I'm wondering if our flight school could do with a bit of a re-think?.
I know that Zak is struggling somewhat with the frustration of still not having an easy time of killing people, and i think that it is time to considure the way to do things.

I'm fairly sure I know what i'm weak on, and that is losing someone from my six, I know Zak is weak on getting a onto someone's six, closing and getting a decent set of shots off.

So i'm wondering if we need to setup a set of limited "quick missions".

The idea is two Vs two - both in similarly matched planes (probably best early war - lagg3 vs bf109 of some sort)
Say three different scenarios, 1 with height advantage, 1 level, 1 with height deficite.

If you put me German, with wingman, Say Hat leading Zak as wingman.

Hat has got to kill me, I've got to escape him and lose him from my six, Zak has got to follow all the manoevers that Hat makes, with Hat giving Zak the manoever he is going to make.

My wingman has then got the job of getting round behind the people chasing me before I get killed?.

Zak gets the benefit of learning the manoevers, gets to get close to the plane in front, learn the strategy from different heights, whats best to do when, I get some more flight time in a german aircraft and try and learn how to lose someone from my 6.

Then just run through them, record and try and help people understand what they are doing wrong.

    Any views?

I suggested something similar a while back 3v1, say me chasing someone who can fly ok and the other 2 guys have to get me before I get the other guy, teaches situational awareness n stuff as the 2 chasing are on a bit of a time limit but also theres 2 of them on the same target so they also have to watch around them...

    both good plans....

have developed the need to be on someones wing this last few weeks. Quite enjoy covering people and I do follow Hat and Dak a fair bit.....but I still dont see WHY they do stuff.

The old Wing Smoke follow-the-leader helped me in my early days immeasurrably...

so its a good plan. I feel my 3d awareness is lowest, but vastly better now that F9 is used to discativate snap too......so for that Thanks Hat

I think the next thing I need is GUNNERY SCHOOL.....even once on someones 6, which I managed yesterday in LAG 3 in practice and then in I16 in VEF, I still cant hit as often as a real fighter must.

Hat let me into some easier stuff yesterday, and I pilot killed him and took him out twice.... but soon as he tried, I was toast

Trig should take someone under his wing really.......Hat and Dak have all they can deal with trying to get me sorted.

The milk of human kindness can turn sour ya know
