    Joysticks

    Hey guys,
Just got myself a little bit of money, planning on going out this weekend and spending it all! Im going to get LO:MAC (if i can find it anywhere!) And a nice new joystick, I need a little bit of help tho, im torn between the Saitek Cyborg Evo and the Saitek Cyborg 3D USB Gold. Which is the best? I did look at the X45 but its a hell of a lot of money for my first stick! Any help appriciated!

If you dont want to splash the cash, go for a Saitek Cyborg or something similar, though I have to say that for what you get, the X45 is absolutely OUTSTANDING value for money!

Depends how cheap you can get it, I only paid £20 for mine
You can always get the cyborg for now until you get used to it all, then upgrade if you think it's worth it later

Dabs have the X45 for £58, which is at least £10 cheaper than anywhere else I have seen it. I got mine from there B'grade stock (Looks brandnew) for only £45. Having the huge throttle controller is great when your giving your Mig Fighter jet full power.

Lots of us use the Cyborg gold/platinum....but Id say EVO...

2 extra buttons on the top for your thumbs and a throttle at the back.

I want one but can't justify buying one just to see if its any good...

I have 100% faith in Saitek so Id say EVO...it is after all....and EVOLUTION

    Boss man is right....

    go try then....

My first joystick was a Microsloth and the gas pedal was at the back, and since then Ihave trouble with it being on the front of my Saitek....

either way....the Evo has more triggers

Triggers rule the world ya know

I use the Saitek Cyborg Platinum and it's great for a first stick! One problem people seem to have is the button under the throttle when it's a zero you can't get to it!

I may have to invest in an X45 soon though as they look smart!
