Just wanted to say a big thanks to all of you who have been posting messages recently about how to fly properly in IL-2, they have helped me out no end! I'm only new to IL-2 but am already shooting down fighters and bombers with a pretty good success rate.

I still have a little trouble with the landing, but I'm sure a bit of practice will help! I even fluked a landing after being shot by an enemy IL-2 and the engine puffing out black smoke! Great fun!

By the way, are the Marlins a select group of elite fighters, or can more inexperienced pilots join the fun?

Make sure you're patched up to v 1.21 Final, grab yourslef the Hyperlobby install client http://hyperfighter.jinak.cz/ and come join us in the virtual skies.

At the moment we're flying a fair amount of VEF missions, which are for registered members only, however jumping into a dogfight server is v tempting now and again!

Watch out for the MA_ tags in Hyperlobby .. and post your HYperlobby sign in name here

Also, what is VEF? A server? How much does registration cost then?
