Once you get used to it- especially the twisting, it is very good!

the sheer amount of buttons will help...

decide on what you do ALL the time (ie need to look forward from panning about is a good example) and put it on a dead easy button.

My config is as follows

Trigger: Machine Guns
Left Large Thumb Button: Canons
Centre Thumb Button: Look straight ahead (so when I've been panning around with the thumb button I can get my head back again!)
Right Large Thumb Button: Rockets (third weapon)
Left Top Thumb Button: Bombs (fourth weapon)
Right Top Thumb Button: Super Magnify (ie narrowed Field of View FOV)

And my left hand sits on the left side, and the largest button under my thumb does Toggle Gun Sight
The other two are the widest field of view and one about 3/4 narrowest for shooting most stuff.

Other side of stick..one is for Eject and the others are blank.

ooh...you need to know that F9 changes whether the hat switch bounces back to the centre all the time or not. Turn it off, so you can use the hat switch to pan around while dog fighting.

i think i've improved quite alot since last time, i can shoot down 12 B-29s (average difficulty setting) after 3 attacks on them now
