^^ That is unbelievably hard to do. Clingy is the only man I know who has ever broken a pursuing fighter with bombs from his wounded IL2 (that was one hell of a mission btw) but he got caught in his own blast and perished on the steppes...

Best thing in this game is find something you do reasonably well, and stick with it. I can't fly fighters - not a bit, but I CAN fly bombers and I have a knack of flying multi engined machines like the Mosquito, A20, heavy bombers etc. I've practiced level bombing, dive bombing, ground attack with cannons and all that - I can spot a tank from 6km (hitting it is another thing altogether mind ) and I've got fairly good at it, but not great - that's still to come.

The real thrill is not how many kills you get, but getting home after being engaged, and chased across half the map, wings in tatters, half your landing gear broken, flaps jammed, fuel leaking out of your flying colander with no rudder and engine bearings that are playing Mahler to you... can't beat it, even if you hit NOTHING in the target area

Tumble's right here, Give me a bomber any day. IL2 preferably and i'll leave fighter jocks to keep those Damn 109's and 110C's off my backside with those damn Tank cannons, i'll give you some time but don't take tooo long.

You want to find me i'll be at 50ft hugging the mud i've just moved

I'm easy to follow, you just watch the yellow and blue fire, and green return rear gunner fire coming back

I could only ever do ground attack, but I love to fly an IL-2. Some of the marlins guys were kind enough to teach me, but I just don't have the time, joystick or decent screen to do it anymore. Wah! Perhaps if we move and i get an office...

Are you on Hyperlobby? If so, let us know your user name and we can get up for a flutter about

Handy if you have a mic as well, and you can get on teamspeak - makes it helluva lot easier to "instruct"
