Camera Insurance

I'm in two minds as to whether i should take my 400d to thailand, one because i will probably end up taking rubbish pics and only having the kits lens and secondly something happening to it.

Can anyone recommend an insurance company so that i can get it covered when we go away?

Things of mine of similar value are covered under my house insurance. That could possibly be your answer?

(Items like my Laptop (replacement value of £1300) and my mountain bike (replacement value of £500))

Yeah i think all of mine is covered under my home contents, even when traveling, a well as accidental damage.

I'm going to check this soon though, just to make sure i am covered for the States.
