I find the wide end of my 17-50mm wide enough tbh (17mm is equiv to 25mm on 35mm), I am thinking about getting a super wide angle (probably the 10-20mm) but then I think what exactly would I do with it?
I think the danger with a SWA lens is taking super wide landscapes and losing any point of focus to the picture
Well in the sunset pictures you took the silhouetted housing is a focal point, and the rest is just a glorious skyscape. You don't even need a focal point if the landscape is nice enough, but I think very wides actually make this easier by allowing you to include something very close in the foreground as well.
I really like mine for taking photos inside. Part of it may be that other than my fixed-50, it's the fastest lens i have, so it does low light well and you can actually take photos of the person sitting right next to you without getting an extreme close up :)
Need to get some more f2.8 glass, it's lovely stuff.
Agreed, love my sigma 10-20. In fact the extreme close ups I got at Autosport have made me consider a rectilinear fisheye :D. Anyway, here's an older one experimenting with a macro adapter on my 450D's kit lens, makes a nice wallpaper.

Nice skyline, real nice colours...
apart from the border.. whats that green all about? cant say it compliments the photo (either of the above) in my opinion...
I see what you mean actually, I think it was a hangover from an earlier pic, I'll change it.
