Thank you :D Yes, my trusty Canon A720 P+S - note the ugly hexagons caused by the 6-bladed aperture :p

Playing football earlier, got lucky with this shot! Not amazing, but i like how the top half is still :)
Ta for the input VirtualMonkey :)
This was the whole fountain, but it was either get a wide shot of the whole thing or get a close up on the statue - so i chose the latter (plus i fluffed the focus a bit - so i sharpened quite a lot). Plus the lighting was a lot nicer taking just the figure.

It was a beautiful day in Edinburgh today so I went to Cramond to do something I have been meaning to do for ages - a panorama. The whole image is made from 39 pictures stitched together in CS3. At print resolution it would be 8.8 metres wide!
The reduced image is 3Mb and, as I didn't want to clutter the forum, here is a link to a scaled down version - only 72dpi and scaled to 600 pixels high but you'll get the idea.
You'll have to click on the image to see it full size and then scroll left and right to see it all.
The left side of the image is looking west towards Eagle Rock (it has an Eagle carved into it by the Romans that used to live in Cramond), the middle of the image is looking north towards Cramond Island and the right of the image is looking East towards Granton.
The image was taken from here

Cool pic Bob, what are the lines on his face? did he have a screen beside him?
they had a couple of projectors putting images out on a screen stage right and stage left, he was sat in the middle ish of the stage, so was illuminated by both at stages throughout the play
