Playing football earlier, got lucky with this shot! Not amazing, but i like how the top half is still
Ta for the input VirtualMonkey
This was the whole fountain, but it was either get a wide shot of the whole thing or get a close up on the statue - so i chose the latter (plus i fluffed the focus a bit - so i sharpened quite a lot). Plus the lighting was a lot nicer taking just the figure.
Eurgh! Mud on hands!!!
I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.... It was them that started me drinking.
Took this photo a couple of weeks ago, but I've been playing around with adding textures to photographs, I really like how this one turned out
i havnt posted on hexus for about 3 years, easy, maybe longer than that,

i took this a while back but only really messed around with it in the last few weeks
my first real attempt at mono or something there abouts

Wiffle, thats a nice B+W conversion, but im finding the clouds just a touch too dark and you're loosing some of the detail

It was a beautiful day in Edinburgh today so I went to Cramond to do something I have been meaning to do for ages - a panorama. The whole image is made from 39 pictures stitched together in CS3. At print resolution it would be 8.8 metres wide!
The reduced image is 3Mb and, as I didn't want to clutter the forum, here is a link to a scaled down version - only 72dpi and scaled to 600 pixels high but you'll get the idea.
You'll have to click on the image to see it full size and then scroll left and right to see it all.
The left side of the image is looking west towards Eagle Rock (it has an Eagle carved into it by the Romans that used to live in Cramond), the middle of the image is looking north towards Cramond Island and the right of the image is looking East towards Granton.
The image was taken from here
