Great shots! Is the first one of a flock or the same bird in quick succession?
its just one flock. They came right over at low level, but that I really like the shot that I posted up as it makes a nice geometrical pattern to it
Agreed - love the pattern to it. Great shot.
Today I went to the Kent Kit Car Show. It was not bad, but I last went in 2007 because I found it disappointing that time. Stoneleigh near Warwick is much better, and only a month away now.
I've been wanting a Fisher Fury for the last 6 years. This one was for sale so I got talking to the owner. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to bring it home. Honda Fireblade bike engine, 900cc, "Hundred and forty something" horsepower, 460kg, 0-60 in "under 4 seconds". The one I rode in 2004 was a similar spec, and it really was quick.
This very nicely detailed one was outside. Some more photos on my Flickr. I don't know anything about this one because the only people anywhere near it were busy talking. It had a car engine, I know that much.
"You're doing it wrong!"
These aren't great but - Been trying to track this fella that flies behind where I live:-
usually hovers stationary in the air for a good 20/30 seconds (think it's a Kestrel), but is always there in the evening, so I can never get a great lit image of the actual bird.
I should look in the morning.
Bit of a stitch of a couple of pics from a walk on Sunday. The small tarn to the right is about 200 feet deep - only Wastwater and Windermere are deeper, and they're a lot bigger.
Love that last one HSK
