Hehe, you just can't fail with Cavaliers they're born to pose.
Another cracking couple of shots Robert !
Two great shots back to back Bobster.
Another animal shot while we're on the subject.
Herdwick on the top of Pavey Ark - tamest thing you ever met.

That's a pretty cool effect, apart from a few bits of repetition on the left. :)
Today I went to Castle Combe for the Minis. I think these are an improvement on last year. I spent more time on a corner where the sun was in the right place. The photos I got on an opposite corner came out pretty badly, where the camera was exposing for the shadowed side of the cars meaning everything around them was overexposed while the cars were still a bit dark.
I managed to shave about 800 photos down to 98, which I think is a pretty good keep-rate considering most of them were usable but similar continuous panning shots.

I know the watermark's a bit naff but someone was linking my photos without credit last year and I can't be bothered with something fancy. Not much you can do to stop that other than not upload them at all, but where's the fun in that?
Old Warden yesterday - no Edwardians thanks to the wind, but the rest of the show was great!

very nice
Hmmmmm, let me think, what shall I post today ?
I know, another infrared shot :)
This is from my newest modified camera, a Sony DSC-P73 (definitely my easiest mod yet!). Nice thing about this is all the processing was done in camera, so this is exactly as it came out of the memory card. B&W, +1 on sharpening and contrast. Overcast day and ISO100, f2.8, 1/100th, so I'm pretty impressed with this camera.

Like that - the old biplanes are cracking as well. Beautiful looking things.
Still trying mono - one from very early on Saturday - was up St Sunday Crag before dawn. Bloody cold. This is one from t'other side a few minutes after the sun came up. Unfortunately slipped on a bit of ice going up and broke a couple of filters so the sun rising shots were a bit naff due to bright skies and very dark valley bottoms.

Last 2 pictures, just stunning guys they really are!
Cheers mate
Just to prove it really was early - heres one of Hellvellyn from the corner of St Sunday with the sun still 20 minutes from rising..
Slightly surreal as I've blended two cos the originals were so dark.

Your first one's eerie Kushti, got a few nice lenticular clouds in there as well. Is it just me though, or is the horizon a bit wonky?
Also from the Shuttleworth collection, automotive this time, a 1937 Railton; beautiful car with some fascinating details.
(Needs a bit of a polish though ;))
