Yes Bob, I know these aren't two of my best. I had only one shot each at these so had to use Pshop a fair bit to make them even viewable. I'm happy to forsake the quality to get the shot as I'd not got either of these two on cam before.
Better stuff will follow, or, as they say - normal service will be resumed as soon as possible :)
USAF Thunderbirds at Waddington on Sunday, absolutely roasting day, up at 4:30, back at 9, great show though.

Excellent Ruggerbugger, I love their attention to detail in lining the planes up, only slightly undone by the different hydraulic levels making their noses slightly off level :p
Yeah, if you look around the back the starter carts weren't all lined up either. Shocking :) Wouldn't catch the Reds doing that ;)
ah fairy snuff then - i've only ever seen an emperor once too, it was flying about. the guy i was with is the local dragonfly and butterfly expert and i went out for a mornings walk with him a fair few years ago (Canon 300D days.. and Sigma 70-300 "Macro")

this shot he's eating a rare butterfly - the comment from the guy i was with when he saw the butterfly was "Oh, thats *insert rare butterfly name here*" along comes mr emperor and snatches it out of the sky "And thats why they're rare *Laugh*"

One of your best shots j.o.s.h.1408.
I don't like the tone changes in processing all that much, but the texture and light are good.
Nice shot, but not enough change in tone between foreground and background for me. I think your umbrella street shot is the best I've seen so far.
East Midlands today, love these 737s

Not been round here for a while..first moved house then a week ago today my girlfriend of 5 years broke up with me so I'm not really in the mood for photography these days. However you guys certainly are! Josh your photos are looking a lot better these days, shows what practice does! Lots of good pics from everyone, keep it up!
