Yes Bob a tad OOF, Im still trying to optimise settings for the ringflash, not sure what my aperture was, others were f20 ish. To be fair it was sat on a teasel blowing frantically in the wind :)

j.o.s.h.1408, you may want to blur out the in focus leaves at the top of frame - they make the background look very odd.
ah yea they do dont they. looks blooming odd? how did that happen. dont think i applied any PP on that pic at all
It's not caused by PP, it's an optical illusion - the leaves are in the plane of focus but are darker than the out of focus background. Your eyes are fooled into thinking the darker leaves are further back than the lighter background, and it makes it look like you have cut outs.
